"Lifes' too short."


Okay, im back from the "class chalet". Not all turn-ed up, only 10 of us, ( me, vicky, js, cz, wm, ph, bryan, malcolm, bs and jh. ) Jeremy and Vilasini came on the 2nd day.

Day 1

Checked in at bout 3 plus. Slack + ps2 for almost the whole time, den we had KFC delivery for dinner. Oh ya we went to rent bicycle from Changi village, zzz i kindof regretted. Some of us went up the Old Changi Hospital, didnt want to go at first, but had to go to make up the even number. Then at night, donnoe who suggested night cycling. Wm then say we cycle round changi village then go back already, ok so i reluctantly agree-ed.

Then cb, they cycled all the way to ECP. =.= CBCB. I tink they whole journey there was 1.5 - 2 hr. We left at 2 plus to 3, then we reach-ed back bout 6 plus. FKFKFK. My whole butt was aching like fk. Nvm it was a good lesson learnt. =.= . Momo while riding half way, i tink an ant nest drop onto his back, so his whole shirt was filled wif ants, mi jh cz were behind him at tat time, lol suddenly see him jump off his bike and removing his shirt, very suay.

Day 2

Slept at 6 plus am, woke up at 10 am, coz need return bike, zzz. So after returning the bike, had breakfast at Changi Village. Then we made our way back, instead of walking the normal way, they walked the coastal path, zzz which is like so much longer than the normal route, and after walking less than a min of the path, i got stomach-ache, =.=, so i had to bear the whole route la, zzz thankfully i made it through.

Then we had bbq in the evening, while starting the fire, it started to rain, knnbccb. Ya so everything was delayed for bout at least half and hr. Then finally we could start bbq-ing. Everything ended bout 10. Then they continued gambling and we left to makan supper at bout 12. After coming back, they gambled again. -.- . I went to bed first.


Day 3

Check-ed out, they wanted to go Chambers at Yishun for lan-gaming, so the 9 of us cabbed there, vicky left for work. Only to reach there to find out that there wasnt any space, waited for awhile, then decided to go home in the end.


Im seriously broke. Left with 1 dollar. Very very sad.


Btw, there's no skool on monday for our class i tink, some lecture email-ed to us saying that lessons have been rescheduled. YAY?

Okay, todae's the class chalet, will be meeting them at 230 at Tampines Int. Wondering how to go, most probably shud be 67 ba, hahhha, donnoe how long the journey will take.

Day 30


Okay finally the attachment is over. But its quite sad la, coz we havent received our paychecks, they say they will bank it in for us, hopefully they do, lol.


After attachment we went to Clementi Woods Sakura for a so called gathering. 9 of us went, me, vicky, wm, cz, js, jh, ron, bs and ph. First time going dere, damn alot of variety of good there, but the price is also scary la, $27.80. >.< Luckily js booked the day b4, coz it was friggin full.

DAY 29

OMG, time really flies, tml will be the last day of our attachment. Mixed feelings bout it though, lol. End of attachment means no more waking up at 5 am in the morning, and also a break which many of us really want. But wad im gonna miss bout attachment is the imba wanton noodles, some of the nicer people there ( sun, zhou dong, wartsila no.1, ayumi, andreas, beneDICK, adam, sithu, abang, smoker, chen zhi cai + many more ) and some of the sibei kp ppl ( dog, CK, gay, micheal jackson, xiao lao ban, office ppl, pang, engineer trainee + many more) there.

Through this 6 weeks, i tink we've been given a look into the environment where we will be working for the next 30,40,50 yrs of our life? Everytime we get attachment to some department, some of the older ppl will ask the standard thingy "ah boy ah, why choose marine, marine no good leh", quite demoralizing at times, but since this is the path we have chosen, with no regrets, we will have work hard and enjoy what we are doing. If not the only ppl who will suffer is ourselves. 

I will say i've learnt a lil bit of skills during my time here. Dismantling and assembling a fuel injector, doing pressure testing for a fuel injector, these are all in-valuable experiences that u wont get in books. Being part of the team that helps to remove a main bearing cap is also a great experience. Of course there were many more we did. LOL, but the last 2 weeks at re-conditioning and In-SITU was just crap, aahahah. 

I personally think that Wartsila is a very good place to do ur attachment as unlike some shipyards, u are posted to this department for ur whole frigging 6 weeks dere, so u practically do the same old crap week in week out. But for us, we get to be posted to new departments every week, and ya so we get to do different things. WARTSILA FTW ! =.=

Anyway Manchester United beat Bolton 2-0, quite a comfortable result i will say.

Day 2, The Qualification Round.


Got a call from my aunt in the morning, asking me if i wanted to go watch the F1, as my cousin' sister( also my cousin-.-) couldnt make it. So i agreed. Chances like this are hard to come right? lol




Reached Marina Bay at bout 630, settled at our seats at bout 645. Practice 3 i tink, started at 7. Ya it was my first time see-ing a Formula One car before my own eyes. Yup when the cars speed pass your seats, the sound is fking loud. Equivalent to a F16, i tink.

Halfway through the training, one Indian Force driver lost control of his car and it sort of crashed into the barriers by the sides, the most major accident so far. Kimi Raikkonen also lost control of his car.

Practice session ended at 8pm. The qualification round will begin at 10pm. So in the mean time, mi and my cousins went of to buy snacks. 3 hot-dog buns, comes along with 3 fish balls, 3 bottles of coke, one potato chip = $26. =.= . Imba

Qualification 1.
Soon it was 10pm, the real thing started. All the big names, Hamilton, Massa, Raikkonen, Alonso went through. Raikkonen got first though, followed by Hamilton. If im not wrong.

Qualification 2.
Alonso's engine died off, lol. He didnt make it into the top 10. Hamilton was freaking tyco though, he was 10th position. Raikkonen, Massa got through quite comfortably.

Qualification 3.
Massa got the pole position, followed by Hamilton then Raikkonen.

Ya that sort of sum-ed up the whole 2nd day.
